Training

UHP waterjet training. ST-17 Spider basket training.

Two independent programs. Different equipment. Different uses. SurfaceJet is a recognized trainer and a Louisiana ITWP grant training provider.

01Programs

Two training products. Completely different equipment and uses.

Neither program is a prerequisite for the other. Pick the product your crew actually runs.

02How UHP class runs

Classroom, shop floor, then a graded exam.

Theoretical

Dangers associated with UHP systems, equipment knowledge, how to organize the work, and the advantages and limits of safety measures and gear.

Practical

Demonstration of the system and its components, handling of the tools, use of the equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting on real hardware — not a simulator.

Certification

Retention is graded by a practical exam and a written exam. A certificate of completion is issued to trainees scoring 70% or higher combined.
